Arrived in Cambodia (Thurs Jan 15th)

CAMBODIA

I arrived in Cambodia yesterday, the first thing I noticed while looking out of the window on approach to the Airport was the lack of development, most of the roads in the suburbs near the airport were dirt. I checked in at a riverside hotel about 1km from the Mekong junction. I found the City of Phnom Penh rather charming with no high rise buildings and the distinctive colonial French influence amongst this capital city of the Khmer people
